With 7, 6, and 3-day multi-activity adventure packages, there is an alternative exploration to fit any lifestyle. These custom itineraries can be fit for two or more passengers on a private basis with daily departures or for sit-in basis on fixed Galapagos departure dates.

Day 1
Amazon / Papallacta Hot Springs

            Today begins after leaving the city of Quito, heading towards the east to the mighty slopes of the Andes Mountains, where the Amazon lies below. Soaring 4,000 meters above sea level, overwhelming views of the Amazon rainforest can be admired from the slopes of the Andes Mountains. From here, you and your party will be welcomed by inviting, calming, and refreshing hot springs at Papallacta. Next, you will partake in a journey through the Andes terrain to explore the "Amazon Park" and finish the day when checking into the Amazon Jungle Lodge to prepare for the upcoming adventures.

Day 2
River Rafting on the Jatunyacu River

            Today will be filled with exciting rapids, exploration, and extreme adventure. The day begins by hiking into the Llanganates National Park, where you can calm your nerves before partaking in rafting down the rapids of the famous Jatunyacu River. Here, you can relax in the natural swimming pools and prepare for what lies ahead. Next, the navigation down Jatunyacu River begins. With fun waves, large holes, raging rapids, followed by extreme volumes of water, today is nothing but impressive! Beautiful scenery with vibrant flora, unique birds, and a variety of wildlife, surround you as you explore through Jatunyacu. Return to the Jungle Lodge for the night and get sleep for the next day.

   

Day 3
Explore the Arajuno River by Canoe

            Snaking through the lowlands of the tropical rainforest, the Arajuno River provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the Amazon and the life within it, including the native Quechua Indians who live along the banks of the river. You will navigate down toward the Amazon Animal Rescue Center in a motorized canoe and enjoy the calmness of the waters. After your visit at the Amazon Animal Rescue Centere, you will be returned back the Jungle Lodge to enjoy the night at your leisure.

Cloud Forest Tours and Travel

Day 4
Banos Cloud Forest Exploration

            Today, you and your guests will depart Tena and head south, making your way to Puyo. Here, you can visit the Fatima Animal Center and enhance your knowledge about the wildlife that surrounds you. Next, prepare yourself to see some of the most breathtaking, amazing, magnificent waterfalls in the world at the Pastaza River Gorge. The city of Banos, offers spectacular views of Tungurahua volcano, which remains active. The night is enjoyed at a local hacienda in the Cloud Forest valley of Patate.

   

Day 5
Discover Patate by Mountain Bike

            Journey through the Cloud Forest valley and down to Patate River by mountain bike, where awesome views of Tungurahua Volcano can be admired. Transportation will be waiting for you and your party to journey back to the highlands to your hotel where you can unwind, relax, and enjoy the night at your leisure.

Day 6
Cotopaxi by Horseback / Return to Quito

            Enjoy the morning and the city of Cotopaxi atop a horse where you will climb the slopes of Ruminahui Volcano. After a 2-3 hour horseback ride, you will get a taste of the native cowboy lifestyle and discover the beauty of the scenery around you. You will also get a chance to visit the breathtaking Limpiopungo Glacier Lake and explore the native Inca ruins. During the afternoon, you and your party will return to Quito to finish your adventurous journey of Ecuador.
