The 1,623-ton M/V Santa Cruz, the only ship originally built for
Galapagos Islands cruising, has been completely renovated and redecorated.
The "new" Santa Cruz has 48 cabins and she was redesigned and refurbished
inside and out.
On the Boat Deck there are two new luxury master suites
with double beds and a private balcony and two junior suites
(with twin beds that can be joined to form a double) have
been added as well as six superior-class cabins with twin
beds. These cabins give the ship a very high standard of
accommodations in comfort and style.
All the cabins and
bathrooms on all decks are renovated and provide more choices,
including single, double, triple and quad accommodations.
The Sun Deck on the M/V Santa Cruz was lengthened and a
deck-bar and Jacuzzi were installed, along with an observation
area for dolphin and whale watching. The dining room, lounge
and bar were also elegantly remodeled and there is a reading
room and library were added.
