The Sacha Lodge is a true Amazon adventure! Right from the start, you will be taking in some of the most beautiful rainforest scenery in the world. The lodge is located 50 miles downstream from the small Amazon town of Coca and just around 20 minutes from the Napo River. The lodge was built from local materials by the local Indigenous tribes. Enjoy electricity and hot water in your Amazonian villa-type accommodation. Be sure to visit the butterfly farm located within the property of the Sacha Lodge, which has several thousand different colored butterflies. The recently completed rainforest canopy suspends several hundred feet above the ground, allowing for ample bird-watching. Enjoy a short canoe ride then a soft hike to get to the famous rainforest tower which was constructed around a massive kapok tree.
You take a domestic flight from Quito to the Amazon town of Coca, and then take a motorized canoe ride for approximately 2 hours to the lodge.
The 5-day / 4-night tour departs Quito on Mondays and the 4-day / 3-night tour departs Quito on Fridays. The tour packages include all meals at the lodge and jungle excursions with bilingual guides. At the Sacha Lodge, your itineraries are planned upon arrival at the lodge; choose from many adventure activities that the lodge has to offer, which include night walks, bird watching, fishing and many levels of hiking and jungle walks.
