La Casa del Suizo

	At La Casa del Suizo Ecuador Amazon Lodge, you are situated at the shore of the Napo River, in the Amazon Basin, where you can see the Andes from a close distance with the bare eye.

	The jungle lodge is located just about five hours (without any stops) by car from Quito. However, please be assured that you may want to stop at the local Ecuadorian villages along the way or maybe even a local weekend or weekday indigenous Indian market.

	You will have many picture opportunities to get to know some of Ecuador along the way. La Casa del Suizo Ecuador Amazon Lodge is composed of about 75 accommodations, featuring electricity, ceiling fans and hot water. The meals are served in both buffet and “sit-down” style. The food is very good, with many local ingredients. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the pool or in the bar. La Casa del Suizo is a true treat for those discovering the mainland of Ecuador and the Amazon Jungle Basin.

	Travelers are able to make phone calls from the reception area of the lodge.

	Length of Amazon Jungle tours and itineraries:

	The tours depart from Quito to La Casa del Suizo Amazon Lodge daily by private vehicle. The length of the tours run from 2 nights, which can be extended for as long as you wish. There is a wide variety of activities the lodge offers, including fishing, swimming, and inter-tubing down river, hiking, and bird watching. Join the friendly multilingual staff for an Amazon adventure of a lifetime. A stay at La Casa del Suizo includes all meals, tours, excursions, and transportation to and from the lodge.
