The Galapagos Islands are located about 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. This group of islands and its climate is sub-tropical, allowing us to offer Galapagos cruises and hotel packages that operate on a year ‘round basis. The Galapagos Islands are especially great for cruises, which basically use the vessel(s) as your comfortable “floating hotel” throughout the journey.

By far, the best cruise itinerary in the Galapagos Islands is the 8-day / 7-night option. The second best is the 5 day / 4 night program.

In addition to the various cruise options, we also offer you a choice of land-based hotel vacations, including a 3-night land-based diving extension, off Santa Cruz Island.

Temperatures at the Galapagos Islands are determined almost entirely by the ocean currents that are influenced by trade winds. Generally, December to May is warm and sunny; June to November is cool and breezy. Most Galapagos birds nest year round, so you are bound to see courtship, mating, chicks hatching and rearing almost any time of the year.
