The 12-passenger M/S Diamante is a brigantine schooner motor sailor; a modern, smaller version of great naval training ships. The M/S Diamante first began her year round cruise schedule in the Galapagos Islands in 1993. Perfect to be used as a charter vessel for families and small special interest groups, the Diamante allows you to get up close and personal with the astonishing world of Darwin’s “Enchanted Galapagos Islands”.

A seasoned Captain, dedicated crewmembers and an experienced English-speaking naturalist guide attend to the details of your Galapagos cruise. The naturalist guide takes the passengers on all shore excursions and shares extensive insights into the Islands diverse wildlife. Small boats, locally called pangas, ferry passengers to shore for Island visits. The Diamante’s 6 double cabins are divided into 4 cabins with comfortable upper/lower berths and two cabins with double beds. Her interior is decorated with teak and mahogany.

The Sun Deck is a perfect spot for enjoying the warm Galapagos sun or to simply catch the ocean breezes as you cruise through Darwin's biological paradise. The dining facility onboard is very informal and accommodating to your needs. Service is always friendly with a smile! The chefs prepare delicious Ecuadorian specialties, as well as Continental dishes. With a sleek, elegant hull, stunning white sails and professional and friendly service of her dedicated crew and hand-picked naturalist guides, the Diamante is one of the best choices in her category for sailing in the Galapagos Islands.
