The catamaran-style M/C Journey 1 is one of the most desireable and comfortable cruising vessels that you can choose from for your next Galapagos Islands journey. This is due to the fine details that have been included in the construction of the catamaran.
Catamaran cruising has become a very trendy way to travel in the Galapagos Islands, as it is a very intimate experience. Catamarans rarely hold more than 16 guests at a time and are extremely stable for the size, which is a very important item to consider when planning your Galapagos cruise.
Travel with state-of-the-art equipment on the M/C Journey 1
On the M/C Journey 1, you will find 8 spacious cabins with air-conditioning, private bathrooms and oceanview windows. All cabins are above the water line, this allows you to open the windows and enjoy fresh ocean breezes. Several beds onboard are convertible from twin to matrimonial.
There are 6 standard cabins on the main deck aboard the M/C Journey 1, each featuring up to 150 sq. feet (2 suites on the upper deck, which feature up to 190 sq. feet).
The M/C Journey 1 boasts state-of-the-art navigational and safety equipment and also carries an array of entertainment equipment, such as a DVD player with a flat screen TV, as well as new snorkeling gear and wetsuits available to guests for rental.
