Casa del Suizo

     At La Casa del Suizo, you are situated at the shore of the Napo River, in the Amazon Basin, where you can see the Andes from a close distance. The jungle lodge is located just about five hours by car from Quito, which makes it accessible on a daily basis by travelers. It is composed of about 75 accommodations, featuring electricity, ceiling fans and hot water. The meals are served in both buffet and “sit-down” style.      The tours depart from Quito to La Casa del Suizo Amazon lodge daily by private vehicle. The length of the tours run from 2 nights and can be extended for as long as you wish. There is a wide variety of activities the lodge offers including fishing, swimming, and inter-tubing down river, hiking and bird watching.
